Chicago Dinner Honors Linda Chavez

Last night the Hispanic Leadership Fund held a dinner at the Chicago Hilton in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.  The Hispanic Leadership Fund and the Chicago chapter of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly partnered to organize the dinner, which was attended by local business and civic leaders.

Linda Chavez is chairman of the Center for Equal Opportunity, a non-profit public policy research organization.  She writes a weekly syndicated column that appears in newspapers across the country, is a political analyst for FOX News Channel, and hosts a syndicated, daily radio show on Liberty Broadcasting.  Chavez is the author of several books, including Out of the Barrio: Toward a New Politics of Hispanic Assimilation (1991), and An Unlikely Conservative: The Transformation of an Ex-Liberal (2002).

Linda Chavez is currently a Member of the Hispanic Leadership Fund’s Advisory Board.
