Today, HLF President Mario H. Lopez gave a presentation on “Building Coalitions: the Imperative of Reaching Hispanic Voters” as part of a political campaign manager training seminar at the Leadership Institute. The multi-day seminar helped train several dozen political campaign managers mostly focused on local and state-level races. Lopez discussed several demographic and voting trends and the mechanics of identifying voters. Special attention was placed on messaging on critical issues like immigration and economic opportunity.
