President

Mario H. Lopez is the President of the Hispanic Leadership Fund, an advocacy organization that promotes liberty, opportunity, and prosperity for all in public policy. HLF advocates on Capitol Hill and state legislatures, before regulatory agencies, and in the courts, to further its core principles and work with policymakers to defend and strengthen the American Dream.

HLF executes communication campaigns in English and Spanish to educate constituents about where candidates for public office and elected officials stand on critical issues. Since its inception in 2008, HLF has successfully completed millions of constituent contacts across all mediums.

Brittney Paul

Britt Paul has spent the last decade working and volunteering for free-market causes and nonprofits across the country. She is currently a director at the Reason Foundation and formerly with the State Policy Network and the Commonwealth Foundation. Prior to that, she worked at The LIBRE Initiative to empower the U.S. Latino community on issues of economic well-being and opportunity with a focus on engaging young professionals.  

Britt is a member of the Board of Directors for the Commonwealth Foundation and the Instituto de Libertad Económica para Puerto Rico.

With a passion for communicating the benefits of economic liberty, Britt has published pieces in The Guardian, NBC Latino, Al Día, and more. She was recognized as one of City & State PA’s 40 Under 40 Rising Stars in 2016, Think Freely Media’s 2015 Great Communicator of the Year, and the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations’ 2013 Rising Professional.  

Originally from central Pennsylvania, Britt holds an AA from Bard College at Simon's Rock, a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from The George Washington University, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from The University of Texas. 

Eduardo J. Lopez-Reyes

Ranked among Newsmax’s 50 Most Influential Latino Republicans, Lopez-Reyes is Chief Consultant of Wolf & King Strategies.  His work has been featured on The Daily Caller, C-SPAN, and PBS, among others.  Lopez-Reyes served the Joint Intelligence Operations Center Europe Analytic Center in imagery and counterterrorism from 2002 through 2010. Lopez served as National Vice Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus between 2011 and 2015. In 2012 he served on Utah Governor Jon Huntsman’s New Hampshire presidential campaign steering committee.  In 2016 he served as National Co-Chairman of Republicans for Johnson-Weld and spoke on every stop of Our America Initiative’s national 2016 Liberty Tour. He is currently a member of Our America Initiative's Defense and Foreign Policy Council, the board of American Unity PAC, and the Advisory Board at Libertarians for National Popular Vote. Prior to his military service, he worked for US Senators Hank Brown and John H. Chafee and was the founder and chairman of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Rhode Island.

Omar Vargas

Omar Vargas is a 1998 graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law and the School of International Service. He joined PepsiCo in June 2006 as the Director of Global Policy and Government Affairs. Between 2001 and 2006, Omar held a number of appointments at the U.S. Department of Justice, where his portfolio included a broad range of legal and public policy issues. In 1991, Seton Hall University awarded Omar with the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Scholarship. Omar graduated from Seton Hall in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Political Science. Omar’s professional and volunteer work has earned him recognition by the New Jersey State Assembly, Seton Hall University, the University of New Mexico School of Law, the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia, the Washington College of Law Latino Law Student Association, the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility, and MillerCoors Lideres. Sergio Rodriguera, Jr.

Sergio Rodriguera, Jr. is Senior Vice President at Sphere Consulting LLC and, most recently, served as a Navy Reserve Intelligence Officer in Afghanistan from June 2009 to April 2010 as Deputy Officer in Charge of the Afghanistan Threat Finance Cell, where his unit was tasked with targeting the financial networks of our enemies. Prior to his duties in Afghanistan, he was a Defense Fellow/Policy Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict focused on policy and intelligence to provide valuable insight on monitoring global threats using quantitative analysis. From 2005 to 2006, he was Special Advisor to the Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence at the Department of Treasury leading outreach efforts to the financial sector, intelligence community and regulatory agencies. Also, from October 2003 to November 2004 he was the Hispanic Outreach Coordinator for Bush Cheney 2004. Jacquelyn Puente

Throughout her career Jackie has served as a effective liaison between public, private, and nonprofit entities, and has built a strong reputation for building a coalitions on high profile and complex issues combining her passion for diversity and Hispanic inclusion, public relations, advocacy, and community development.  Jackie has advised Fortune 100 company clients on a range of technology, telecommunications, tax, and utilities issues and has been a dedicated advocate for economic progress by empowering communities with technology and digital literacy.  Jackie participated in the National Association for Minorities in Communications (NAMIC) Executive Leadership Development Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, and completed her undergraduate work at American University.  As part of her work to expand opportunity to all communities, Jackie proudly serves on a variety of corporate advisory councils and boards with several national organizations.  Hey professional experience includes developing strategic alliances with public affairs firm DCI Group, Director of Development & Corporate Relations at the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute, and Corporate Communications & External Affairs at Dell, Inc.  Currently, Jackie is the executive director for external affairs at Comcast.  She lives in Washington, DC with her family.

Bettina Inclán

Bettina Inclán is a communications and political strategist with vast knowledge in public relations, new media, strategic planning and coalition building. An experienced spokesperson, with both mainstream and Spanish language press, she has built numerous effective grassroots, messaging and branding campaigns for organizations across the country.  Bettina has worked with top political candidates nationwide, including prominent roles in recent statewide races in Florida and California, states with large and diverse Hispanic population. Daniel Garza

Daniel Garza, a former White House staffer who served in the Bush Administration also worked as a co-producer and host of Agenda Washington, a Spanish language news/interview weekly television program that covered state, economic, political and social issues impacting the U.S. Hispanic community airing on the Univision television network. Daniel served as a former Congressional Staff Assistant for U.S. Congressman Richard “Doc” Hastings before being elected as Councilman for the City of Toppenish, Washington in 1996. Daniel was then appointed in 2001 by the Bush Administration to serve as Deputy Director of External and Intergovernmental Affairs in the Office of the Secretary at the Department of the Interior. In 2004, Daniel was appointed as Associate Director of the Office of Public Liaison in the White House before moving on to work for Televisa in 2006 as President of HISPANIC and PODER Group, where he oversaw the editorial, commercial, and promotional aspects of HISPANIC, Hispanic Trends, PODER and Tu Dinero magazines.
