Since last week’s presidential debate, a lot of folks have debated the topic of taxpayers’ money going to public television. Like everyone else, we like Big Bird. That doesn’t mean that neither Sesame Street’s producers nor PBS (they are not the same entity) should receive taxpayers’ money. This is especially true when each of them take in much more money than they spend, and when government overspending is leading down a ruinous economic path.
