HLF just finished a two week online ad campaign encouraging some of the Democrats in Congress who have shown a willingness to support small business. Congress is currently considering a myriad of extreme progressive bills and proposals that would raise taxes and drastically increase cumbersome regulations on small businesses, including a new ‘investment tax.’
Small business issues remain vital in the Latino community, with Latinos starting them at a rate three times that of the general population, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
The ad ran online, targeting constituents in key states and districts, garnering a total of 1,374,600 impressions across three states and 13 Congressional districts, and average of over 112,000 impressions per state and just under 80,000 per district.
The ads focused on the following Members of the U.S. Senate and U.S House of Representatives:
- Sen. Mark Kelly (AZ)
- Sen. Kristen Sinema (AZ)
- Sen. Cortez Masto (NV)
- Rep. Tom O’Halleran (AZ-01)
- Rep. Jim Costa (CA-16)
- Rep. Scott Peters (CA-52)
- Rep. Stephanie Murphy (FL-07)
- Rep. Carolyn Bourdeaux (GA-07)
- Rep. Ed Case (HI-01)
- Rep. Jared Golden (ME-02)
- Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-05)
- Rep. Susie Lee (NV-03)
- Rep. Steven Horsford (NV-04)
- Rep. Kurt Schrader (OR-05)
- Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15)

Below is the ad that ran in Rep. Cuellar’s district, with the rest having a very similar format.
