To celebrate the first anniversary of the founding of the Hispanic Leadership Fund, yesterday we hosted our “First Anniversary Fiesta” in Washington, DC. Over 100 people attended, including representatives from major conservative think tanks and advocacy organizations. Special guests included Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Pete Sessions, and President of Americans for Tax Reform and HLF Advisory Board Member Grover Norquist. The event was made with something of an 80’s theme in mind, including “music from the Reagan Revolución era.”
UPDATE: Washington Times columnist Amanda Carpenter writes about the celebration here.
